Your First Visit
When you make the appointment for your first visit, we will send you a patient information and health history form in the mail. Please complete this form and bring any insurance information that you may have with you to your first visit. You can also access these forms here at our website where they can be printed, or it can be submitted electronically.
Upon your first visit you will be greeted by one of our friendly staff. We will ask you to sign in at a computer located in the reception area. Any completed forms and information regarding insurance will then be collected. We will then provide you with a tour of our office and explain the various steps in diagnosis and treatment.
Our treatment coordinator will then accompany you to our consult room. There she will take preliminary records and provide you with additional information about your visit. She will also discuss with you your primary orthodontic and dental concerns. At this point either Dr. Ross or Dr. Munn will join you and conduct a painless orthodontic examination. The doctor will utilize a sophisticated orthodontic clinical case presentation program that will demonstrate your specific orthodontic problem and our recommendation for your treatment plan.
After being certain that you fully understand our recommendations and the benefits of treatment, our treatment coordinator will discuss the administrative and financial aspect of care. We can then schedule you or your family member for a subsequent appointment to conduct full diagnostic records and begin treatment.
